anime Just deal with it, because I was bored and I love Gravitation.
This is Gravitation:
NOTE: it may be two guys, but it is really a good story, because it's a love story, but it isn't all mushy/sissy stuff(I would puke!)
The series of a rookie singer, Shindou Shuichi, pursuing his dreams to become as big as his “God”, Sakuma Ryuuichi. Yet, what happens when his path crosses with another’s? Will he find love with the talented romance novelist, Yuki Eiri, or end up being thrown into a world of pain?
The real story, however, begins when Shuichi is looking over his lyrics in a lonely park. The wind picks up and blows the paper out of his hands, and they land in the hands of Eiri. When Shuichi runs over to get them back, Eiri begins to harshly insult his music. He says he has no talent and that the song is below elementary level. Letting go of the lyric sheet, Eiri tells him to give up then nonchalantly walks off. Now in a quest to prove himself as a singer, Shuichi finds himself falling for the handsome blonde. What’s to become of this relationship?
Gravitation is sure to keep everyone laughing with Shuichi or Ryuuichi's childish personalities, and K's wild obsession with guns (especially when pointed at someone else's head). It provides drama, revealed when you journey into the characters' past. Even sadness as angst, due to reminisce, slowly takes over Eiri's body and soul. But like everything; Gravitation has its flaws. One being the maturity (especially in the OVAs), and it isn’t recommended for younger children. Some confusion might also befall you while new characters are introduced seeming completely pointless in the story. Although, if you have patience the story begins to come together towards the end, and this 13-episode series will prove to be one of the best shonen-ai anime out there.
Characters:
Yuki Eiri (my favorite character): a cold-hearted bastard who never shows his human side, but ends up finding that he loves Shuichi (but he would rather die than admit it and never throughout the whole series does he actually say I love you). He always puts down Shuichi and is a romance novelist (go figure) who is the most popular person in Japan. He's also bi. He likes guys and girls (for those who are stupid). He's also 22 years old.
Shuichi Shindou: A very hyper and naive 19-year-old, who is stupid, but very funny and loveable. He is also a great singer, but he can't sing unless he's happy, so whenever Yuki kicks him out of the house or puts him down (which is like 98% of the time) he can't sing.
Tohma Seguchi: A 32-year-old manager for Shuichi's band. He is a friend/guardian of Yuki, because whenever Yuki is down he's always at his house trying to comfort him. He also has a crush on Yuki (in the manga only) but he's also married to Yuki's sister-Mika. He's also very manipulative...like if you don't do what he wants he'll use his friends-in-high-places and ruin your life...even possibly kill you.
The aren't all the characters...not even close actually, but these are the one's that stood out to me most. To learn more ask me, or look up "Gravitation(anime)" on google.
